M8 is a collective of students and alumni from the ArtEZ Conservatorium. The octet was founded in 2024 and has been playing together for a year now. In May 2025, the M8 Octet participated in the Final Concert of the ArtEZ Chamber Music Sessions, where it was awarded the Audience Prize for its performance. The octet is made up of Tristan Savoye Matamoros, Eider Armendáriz Cividian, Mireia Escobar Ortega, Elena Contreras Abengochea – violin, Miquel Pla Ruera, Adrian Abad Antoñanzas – viola, and Aymara Gosen, Clara Sánchez Hernández – cello.
